All applicant Award Programs (AP’s) will have met or exceeded the APIRS posted Certification Criteria and, if a rating is requested, will have met the specific criteria for the rating level assigned.
The intent of the APIRS criteria is to provide a level of consistency in AP’s that still allows for the creative freedom of the individual AP and further recognises the need for varied specific criterion within an AP. It is the variety of AP’s that makes earning an award or not receiving one both exhilarating and frustrating. We aspire to protect the Privacy of the applicants to AP’s, as well as, assuring the applicants that there is a posted set of criterion and ethics that any AP that displays an APIRS badge has attained to.
Just as important, we want to assure each and every applicant to an APIRS certified AP that they can be assured of receiving a fair, impartial and legitimate evaluation of their website complete with constructive feedback from the evaluator/s.
The APIRS philosophy is to help member AP’s create better award programs through fair evaluations with constructive critiques and feedback. In return, the AP’s will have helped webmasters create better websites through their fair evaluations with the ensuing constructive critiques and feedback to their applicants.
Follow the navigation to read the specific criteria required for both Certified and Rated Levels I through VI. Please allow up to 6 weeks for our team to evaluate your site. There will be a minimum of 3 evaluations performed and then reviewed and this takes time to accomplish properly. |
