APIRS Certified Members

The designation of “APIRS Certified Member” denotes an Award Program (AP) that has met all of the APIRS criteria for certification and does not have any of the Disqualification criteria within their AP. This means an applicant can safely go to any APIRS Certified Member AP and know they can be assured of receiving a fair, impartial and legitimate evaluation of their website complete with constructive feedback from the evaluator/s. The applicant can rest assured that they will not be plagued with spam emails to buy this or that from the AP after the application or end up being an unwilling partner in a “link farm”.

We have discovered that there are many very good Award Programs who do not wish for a variety of reasons to be rated (many of whom if they so wanted would be rated at significant levels with several of the current Indexes, including APIRS) and it is our desire that these AP’s will make use of the APIRS program and embrace the APIRS Certified membership into their awards programs. These designated AP’s would all meet or exceed a level of competency that is posted in our certification criteria and not have any of the posted disqualifying components within their AP.

APIRS Rated Members

The designation of APIRS Level l through Vl denotes an AP that has met all of the APIRS criteria for certification and will not have any of the Disqualification criteria within their AP. The AP will as well have applied for a Rating Level from APIRS and will have met the criteria and scoring required for the rating level they have been assigned. A panel of diverse judges carries out the evaluation of the AP by APIRS and it is their overall average score that will set the rating level.

The rating level is an indicator of the artistic depth and technical skills of the AP itself and more specifically how their AP reflects that knowledge. Each rating level must meet the criteria of the level below it and must also score the required points to attain the level they are rated at.

An APIRS Level Vl AP is the best of the best and the AP’s website reflects that fact. This level of an AP would be capable of, and has been evaluated on its ability to win the highest award issued by the AP. The web design of this level of an AP would be exemplary and would show the artistic, technical and written skill of the AP’s Webmaster.

For an AP to earn a rating of APIRS Level Vl would be a significant accomplishment and not many will do so. Conversely earning a Gold Award from a Level Vl AP would be a very difficult task and the applicant would know the site they or their team created was amongst the best on the Internet today.
