Any AP that displays a list of non winners or a list of sites that have been blacklisted.
Any AP that solicits business as a part of the award or notification process.
Any AP that requires an applicant to sign their guestbook or create a password and logon to apply. This does NOT mean you cannot use a SECRET word or phrase in your application..
Any AP that requires or requests an award in return for the award issued or a “vote”.
Any AP that is a “give away” type of an award program, or has no objective or substantive criterion for an award issued.
Any AP with “flash intro” without a “skip intro” link.
Any AP that contains “under construction” pages.
Any AP that makes use of “right click” disabling software.
Any AP that has pages with horizontal scroll bars at 1024x768 screen resolution.
Any AP that has verifiable and distinct Copyright Infractions - copyright infractions including, but not limited to, music, text, scripts, graphics and images.
Any AP that does not have a Privacy Statement.
Any AP that displays a URL on their award.
Any AP that has no winners listed or is not active (i.e. no applications reviewed within 90 days or if a quarterly, semi-annual or annual award within 90 days of that date).
Any AP that does not have a Copyright Notice in any form.
Any AP applicant that is 17 years of age or younger.
Any AP that does not have a direct link from the home page or is not a “standalone” program.
Any AP that does not have a Purpose Statement.
Any AP that does not have a listed Criteria.
Any AP that does not have an Ethics Statement.
Any AP that does not have an application form to apply for the award.
Any AP that does not notify all applicants upon: 1 Receipt of Application and 2 Final Decision..
Any AP that does not state feedback will be given on request or be included with the final decision..
